I worked with Becca in the engineering department at WEEK-TV. She greatly enjoyed being the audio engineer. She and I became close friends. We are so sad and wish we knew how to comfort you. Becca was my daughter's rock band teacher in Palo Alto and we were just getting to know her, but already her class was the highlight of my daughter's week. We wish we lived closer to be able to come to the celebration of her life. She was so talented, and a wonderful encouraging role model for a teen girl lead singer. Due to her calm and competent style, the players in the band were already playing amazingly well after just a few classes. We miss her and it is so hard to absorb that she is gone, just like that. How much more so must you feel that. Our hearts go out to you. Haya Rubin

We knew Becca for a short time but my son was already very much attached to her. Becca was his rock band teacher in Palo Alto. Under Becca's calm and confident way of teaching, my son was learning to play the drums super fast! And he was looking forward to the class with her every week.
We want you to know Becca will and is already very much missed in our lives. We are very sorry for your loss.

I met Becca when she was a trainer at Crunch Gym - I was her client at first, but soon we became friends. I admired her drive, commitment, determination, and spunk. Becca was one of those people who have a true and kind heart and always looked out for those who needed extra help. I will miss her very much and send my sincere condolences to her family. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. I am so so sorry for your loss. - Margo Callard

I met Becca from an ad she placed on Craigslist seeking a band to play in when she moved to California. We corresponded by email and I suggested she apply for a teaching position at School of Rock where I started working a few months earlier. After she moved to California she sat in and sang with our band D-Generations many times and always stole the show. She was a great talent and a great friend who somehow pulled off a surprise birthday party for me last year. She said she thought of me as her musical fairy godfather......I am so sad she was taken away so early in life and will miss her very much...Becca, you are my inspiration!
