She was born on October 24, 1923 in Macomb, the daughter of Chester and Tennie (Gray) Hillyer. Ruby married Donald Trone on April 12, 1945 in Rushville, IL. He preceded her in death on June 27, 2007.

She worked as a caregiver to dozens of children in the Macomb area. She also worked at the Adair Café in Adair, IL, doing a little bit of everything there.

I enjoyed my visit with Aunt Ruby when Aunt Madelyn and I went over. She shared all her photo albums which I loved. She was so proud of her family. So sorry for your loss. Wishing I was there. Laurie Foltz
