Scott "Cheetah" I. Fairburn
September 14th, 1959 – January 15th, 2018
Scott “Cheetah” I. Fairburn, 58, of Astoria, IL, passed away at 8:55 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2018 at his home. He was born on September 14, 1959 in Canton, IL, the son of Delbert and Mary Coita (Groff) Fairburn.
Survivors include his son, Calob Fairburn of Boise, ID, 4 sisters, Deborah (and John) Lopes of Mt. Pleasant, MI, Rebecca (and Marvin) Westlake of Mt. Carmel, IL, Diane (and Gary) Westlake of Bader, IL and Julie (and Bill) Troutman of Rushville, IL, honorary brother, Ron (and Melinda) Parsano of Vermont, IL and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, nephew, Blake Westlake and honorary sister, Janet Kirby.
Scott worked at Hitchcock Scrap Yard in Canton, IL and L & N Industries in Rushville, IL.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
