Gordon M. Snowden

January 1st, 1958 – April 12th, 2020

Gordon M. Snowden, age 62 of Vermont, Illinois passed away at 6:12 pm on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at his home. He was born on January 1, 1958 in Macomb, Illinois, the son of Edmund Woodrow and Leona "Oney" May (Stroops) Snowden.

He was a welder, welding oil tanks. He also put mattresses together and mowed several yards in Vermont.

Gordon was on the Board of Directors at Bridgeway in Macomb, Illinois.

He loved music.

He is survived by his sister, Clarice Powell of Vermont, Illinois.

Gordon was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Preston Snowden.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There are no services planned at this point.

Memorials may be given in Gordon's memory to the MDH Hospice or the Fulton County Animal Shelter. They may be mailed to Shawgo Memorial Home, PO Box 525, Astoria, IL 61501
