Keith A. Hadsall

November 20th, 1965 – September 1st, 2021

Keith Hadsall passed from this life on September 1, 2021 after a year long struggle with his health. He was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota on November 20, 1965, the second son of John and Phyllis Hadsall.

He grew up in Ipava and graduated from VIT High School in 1984. While in High School, Keith enjoyed playing football and hanging out with his friends.

Starting in 1983, Keith joined the United States Army Reserve and served in 733rd Maintenance Company in Canton, IL. Upon graduation, Keith entered full time service in the United States Army. Keith attended Basic Training at Ft. Benning, Georgia and continued on to US Army Airborne Jump School. Upon completion of Airborne Jump School, Keith was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division located in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. He served in this unit through the completion of his service in 1988.

After his honorable discharge, he began a 28 year career as a prison guard for the Illinois Department of Corrections. Through his 28 year career, he worked in Pontiac and Galesburg. After his IDOC career, Keith spent time working at Caterpillar and a wide variety of jobs in Omaha, Nebraska.

Throughout Keith's life, he loved to fish, was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan and was a model train enthusiast.

A celebration of Keith's life will be scheduled at a later date.

Keith was our neighbor when he was a young boy. He was a good kid. So sorry he has passed away. Buck & Sue
