Marilyn R. Chenoweth
October 23rd, 1934 – September 18th, 2015
Marilyn Chenoweth, age 80, of Table Grove, IL, passed away at 8:56 pm on Friday, September 18, 2015 at her home. She was born on October 23, 1934 in Ipava, IL, the daughter of Carl and Helena (Lohr) Leonard. Marilyn married Donald Chenoweth on January 1, 1952 in Ipava, IL. He preceded her in death on May 8, 2009.
Survivors include her daughter, Bea LeMaster of Table Grove, three sons, Daniel (and Tana) Chenoweth of Table Grove, Doug (and Becky) Chenoweth of Lewistown, IL and Dennis (Jo) Chenoweth of Table Grove, 6 grandchildren, Bradley (and Kristen) Chenoweth, Melissa (and Tim) Ladage, Amy (and Jeremiah) Simmons, Nathan LeMaster, Amanda (and Matthew) Klaska and Kurtis (and Kaitlyn) Chenoweth and seventeen great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her five brothers, Clair, Clive, Carl, Phillip and Ray Leonard, and five sisters, Bernice Daniel, Virginia Dwyer, May Fern Kinzer, Maxine Immel and Shirley Montgomery.
Marilyn was a farm wife. She was also a member of the Table Grove Community Church, VIT School Board and the Fulton County School Board. She also enjoyed painting, cooking, mushrooming and craft items.
Services will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria, IL. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Ipava Cemetery in Ipava, IL. Memorials may be made to the McDonough District Hospice or Table grove Fire Department.

Danny, Bea, Doug and Dennis - I was so very sorry to hear that your mom has passed away. She was such a wonderful person in every sense of the word and I'll always remember her happy spirit. Bea, Danny, Doug, & Dennis - so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I loved getting to visit with her. I can't think about mushroom hunting without thinking of your mom and your whole family. She will be missed.
