Larry G. Brock

January 21st, 1940 – February 1st, 2016

Larry Gordon Brock, 76 of Meridian, MS died on Monday, February 1, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born on January 21, 1940 in Ipava, IL. Mr. Beck was a retired aluminum die cast manager. He served in the US Air Force from 1957 to 1960. Mr. Brock was a Mason and a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and the Alpha Masonic Lodge #155.

Mr. Brock is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Phyllis Howell Brock, daughters Kathy Zavadil, Angela Brock, and Phyllis (and Dennis) Harper, his son Todd Brock, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, his sister Janice Brock, and 2 brothers, Charles and Donald Brock.

He was preceded in death by his mother Elsie, father Donald, and sister Peggy Kottmer.

Masonic services will be held at 3 pm Friday, February 5th at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria, IL. Visitation will take place from 2-3 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Ipava Cemetery with committal services led by Rev. Mark Merrill. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
