Phyllis J. Hadsall

September 13th, 1943 – May 5th, 2016

Phyllis J. Hadsall, age 72 of Bloomington, IL, formerly of Ipava, IL, passed away at 5:10 pm on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Heritage House in Bloomington. She was born on September 13, 1943 in Macomb, IL, the daughter of Harold and Donna (Hinds) Hopping. On November 24, 1962, Phyllis married John Hadsall, Jr. in Ipava. He survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Brian (and Deborah) of Stanford, IL, Keith of Omaha, NE, Scott (and Jackie) of Pontiac, IL, and Christofer (and Georgi) of Oswego, IL, five grandchildren, Matthew (and Ashley) Hadsall, Jacob (and Katie) Hadsall, Danny Hadsall, Jack Hadsall, and Connor Hadsall, three great-grandchildren, Logan and Riley Hadsall and Elowen Hadsall, three brothers, Larry (and Shirley) Hopping and Rick (and Bea) Hopping, both of Ipava, Jim (and Jackie) Hopping of Union, MO, and one sister, Brenda (and Roger) Hamby of Stockton, MO.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Tammy Hopping.

She worked at Horace Mann in Springfield, IL. She later worked for A & W and Boggs Family Diner, both in Havana, IL. She last worked at the Woodhaven General Store in Sublette, IL

Phyllis loved to read and collect Native American memorabilia.

Services will be held on Monday, May 9th at 11:00 am at the Berean Christian Church in Ipava. Pastor Doug Krukewitt will officiate. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Ipava Cemetery and memorials may be given in Phyllis' memory to the Alzheimer's Association or the Illinois Special Olympics.
