Sandra K. Hall

June 18th, 1946 – August 9th, 2016

Sandra Kay Hall, age 70 of Vermont, passed away at 5:55 pm on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at her home. She was born on June 18, 1946 in Macomb, Il, the daughter of Raymond James and Melba (Stremmel) Taylor. She married William Robert Hall on December 22, 1975 in Macomb. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Brian Danner and Dennis (and Angie) Danner, both of Table Grove, IL, two step-daughters, Janet Linn Downey of Apache Junction, AZ and Dianna Linn (and Rocky) Williams, Sr. of Colchester, IL, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, and one brother, Gary (and Barbara) Taylor of Canton, IL.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gene Taylor.

Sandy worked at Wal-Mart stores in Las Vegas, NV, Show Low, AZ, and Macomb for 25 years.

She was a graduate of Macomb High School and was a member of the Astoria United Methodist Church. She enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to read.

Services will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 11:00 am at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Pastor Robert Green will officiate. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service on Monday. Interment will be in the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb. Memorials may be made to the Astoria United Methodist Church or the McDonough District Hospice
