Linda Sue Ritchie

Linda Sue Ritchie, age 69 of Wesley Chapel, FL, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017. She was born in Fon du Lac, WI, the daughter of Bradley and Barbara (Milleson) Roll.

She moved to Ft. Lauderdale in 1956, then to the Tampa Bay area from Phoenix in 2002. She was Sales and Marketing Manager for 33 years at Avnet Electronics.

Linda was one of a kind. A devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She had a love for life! She cherished every moment she spent with family. Linda especially loved being a grandmother and spoiling her grandkids. Her laugh was contagious and she always knew what to say to make everything just right.

She loved making memories and carrying on "family traditions" like baking sugar cookies at Christmas. She loved to shop, her bible study with friends, keeping up with everyone by texting, posting on Facebook, Snapchat and taking pictures.

Every moment to her was a memory we would all treasure forever.

Linda is survived by her husband, Bruce; two sons, Michael (and Lisa) and Douglas (and Marie Elena), her mother Barbara Roll, her brother Steve (and Katherine) Roll, her sister Judy Roll (and Richard Lipscomb), 7 grandkids, Joseph, Amanda, Vaughn, Kayla, Douglas, Jr., Zachary, and Justin, 6 great-grandchildren, Audrey, Elijah, Amiyah, Jayse, Addilyn, and Bryce, nieces and nephews , Todd, Anthony, Julie, and Laurie; and her mother-in-law Wilma.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Bradley.

Graveside services will take place at 10:00 am on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Astoria, IL. Pastor Eric Sawyer will officiate. There is no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Linda's memory to the Salvation Army or the American Heart Association.
