Dinah M. Ford
April 17th, 1951 – April 22nd, 2017
Dinah Marie Ford, age 66 of Pleasantview, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at her home. She was born on April 17, 1951 in Macomb, IL, the daughter of F. Jerry and Pauline J. (Danner) Ford.
Dinah was a 1969 graduate of Industry High School. She graduated from Illinois State University in Normal, IL and attended graduate school at Western Illinois University in Macomb. She was a full time teacher in Joliet, IL and San Francisco, CA. She also worked as a Nanny.
She moved back to Illinois to be closer to her family. She enjoyed her many pets, being in nature, and spending time with family.
She was a member of the Vermont United Methodist Church.
Dinah is survived by her mother Pauline Ford of Vermont, IL, three sisters, Gwen (and Duane) Easley of Englewood, FL, Kathy (and Rick) Heller of Canton, IL, and Cindy Ford of Vermont, IL, nephews Jared, Isaac, Solomon, and Josh, nieces Megan, Cristin, Jessa, Abigail, and Mandy, 5 great-nieces and 3 great-nephews, and her Great Aunt Geraldine (and Charlie) Hayes of Macomb, IL.
Dinah was preceded in death by her dad Jerry Ford and her grandparents.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at 12:30 pm on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at the Vermont American Legion in Vermont, IL. Mike Shirley will be officiating. Memorials may be made to the Schuyler County Humane Society.
