Patricia A. Windsor

September 21st, 1939 – August 11th, 2017

Patricia Ann "Patsy" Windsor, age 77, passed away at 10:05 pm Friday, August 11, 2017 at The Elms in Macomb, IL. She was born on September 21, 1939 in Ipava, IL, the daughter of Otis S. and Anna Lee (Pickering) Derry. Patsy married Donald Windsor on November 10, 1955 in Lewistown, IL. He preceded her in death on August 11, 2013.

Surviving are two sons, Donnie (and Linda) Windsor of Table Grove, IL and Dan (and Kathy Klinedinst) Windsor of Astoria, her daughter Monica (and Jeff Keefauver) Windsor of Astoria, two grandchildren, Seth Windsor and Heily (and Heath VanDeVenter) Windsor, two great-grandchildren, Maycen and Ashton VanDeVenter, two step great-grandchildren Preston Horwedel and Peyton VanDeVenter, her brother Gene (and Darlene) Derry of Bardolph, IL and her sister Elaine (and Jim) Rients of East Peoria, IL.

Patsy was a homemaker. She was a member of the Summum Christian Church and the Astoria American Legion Post #25 Auxiliary.

She enjoyed cross-stitching and knitting, especially baby blankets, and coloring in adult coloring books. Patsy and Donald had many good times camping.

Her faith and her family were the most important things to her.

Visitation will take place on Monday, August 14th from 5-7 pm at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 15th at 10:30 am at Shawgo's. Pastor Ken Peterson will officiate. Memorials may be made to The Elms in Macomb. Interment will be in the Summum Cemetery at a later date.

Patsy will be missed by The Elms activity staff! She was like part of our family suggesting things for us to do, she always complimented us on what a great job we did keeping her busy! RIP our beloved Patsy! 👼👼
