Troy D. Chipman, 53, of Ipava, IL, passed away at 12:38 am on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at his home. He was born on January 19, 1964 in Canton, IL, the son of Orin and Phillis (Morse) Chipman.

Troy is survived by his mother, Phillis (and Kenny) Utterback of Smithfield, IL, fiancé, Melody Shryack of Ipava, 3 sons, Michael Chipman of Kentucky, Kinneth (and Jenny Burgess) Chipman of Canton, and Colton Adams of Canton, 1 daughter Amanda (and Matt) Snowden of Table Grove, IL, Melody's children, Steven Oaks of Cambridge, IL, Miranda Shryack of Champaign, IL and C.J. Olin of Ipava, 7 grandchildren, 2 brothers, Orlen (and Cher) Chipman of Marietta, IL and Eric Chipman of Chicago, IL and 3 sisters, Leann (and Luis) Gonzalez of Plano, IL, Betty Jo (and Brian) McCoy of Dallas City, IL and Bobbie Jo Utterback of Monticello, MO.

He is preceded in death by his father, Orin Chipman.

Troy worked as a Locator for USIC.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

My sincere condolences for everyone that was so dear to him. We basically grew up together as his sister is my closest and best friend which makes him like a brother to me. He will be severely missed but always remembered and loved. Again I am so sorry!
