Xena Renee Hoerr

February 19th, 2006 – May 5th, 2019

Xena Renee Hoerr, 13, of Summum, IL, passed away at 3:34 am on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Culbertson Memorial Hospital ER in Rushville, IL. She was born on Sunday, February 19, 2006 in Canton, IL, the daughter, Justin Bowman and Kaila Duckwiler.

Survivors include her daughter, Hannah Hoerr of Summum, IL, mother, Kaila (and Chuck Stoops) Duckwiler of Summum, father, Justin (and Sasha) Bowman of Astoria, IL, maternal grandfather, Tim (and Vera) Vaughn of Paris, IL, paternal grandparents, Tim and Wanda Bowman of Table Grove, IL, 3 uncles, Joey (and Kari) Vaughn of Astoria, Jordan (and Jan-Nicole Thomas) Vaughn of Astoria, and Jeremy (and Katie) Bowman of Table Grove, 4 aunts, Melissa (and Joe) Havens of Marietta, IL, Jessica Bowman of Vermont, IL, Jennifer (and Josh) Ginger of Table Grove, and Nicole Bowman of Table Grove.

She is preceded by her maternal grandmother, Lucinda Vaughn and paternal great-grandparents, Bill and Jean Bowman.

Xena loved horseback riding, dirt bike riding, hunting, fishing, anything outdoors, 4-H, demolition derbys and being with family and friends.

Services will be held at 11 am on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Pastor Darrin Fish will be officiating. A visitation will take place 1 hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment will be in the Summum Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Hannah Hoerr Educational Fund or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
