Lisa A. Parry

January 16th, 1963 – July 10th, 2020

Lisa Ann Parry, age 57 of Ipava, Illinois, passed away at 9:40 am on Friday, July 10, 2020 at her home., surrounded by her family. She was born on January 16, 1963 in Macomb, Illinois, the daughter of Mickie D. and Patricia A. (Brooks) Williams. Lisa married Danny Parry on February 12, 1993 in Astoria, Illinois. He survives.

Also surviving are her grandson, Ethan Bucher of Canton, Illinois, two step-daughters, Monica (and Jeff) Braun of Lewistown, Illinois and Sonja (and Josh) Peterson of Havana, Illinois, six step-grandchildren; Macey (and Lucas) Utter, Gage Beekman, Carsyn Braun, Knox Braun, Cam Peterson, and Ty Peterson, one step-great-grandson Nash Utter, her mother Pat (and Gary) Brush of Ipava, Illinois, her father Mickie (and Susan) Williams of Sheldons Grove, Illinois, her sister Sandy (and Dean) Roddis of Ipava, Illinois, step-sister Jennie Fawcett, step-brother Jay Brush, her niece Sarah (and Andy Chipman) Roddis of Table Grove, Illinois, her nephew Bo Roddis of Asheville, North Carolina and her special friend Jesse Snowden of Havana, Illinois.

Lisa was preceded in death by her son Erik Bucher.

Lisa was a caregiver, working at the Astoria Healthcare Center and then Astoria Gardens. She was an aide and worked in physical therapy for McDonough District Hospital in Macomb, Illinois, worked at Bower Bearing in Macomb, was a secretary for Renaissance Care Center in Canton, Illinois, and last worked at The Road House Bar and Grill in Ipava.

Lisa owned and operated Cousin's Karaoke, playing weddings, parties, and other events.

She loved to entertain, hosting family dinners, especially Thanksgiving dinner, inviting everyone to come.

Lisa was a member of the Ipava American Legion Auxiliary for several years.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Ipava Cemetery. Pastor Doug Krukewitt will officiate. There is no visitation. Memorials in Lisa's memory may be given to the McDonough County Animal Shelter or the St. Jude Midwest Affiliate in Peoria, Illinois.
