Geneva K. Woods

October 12th, 1931 – September 25th, 2020

Geneva K. Woods, 88, of Bushnell, IL, passed away at 5:02 pm on Friday, September 25, 2020 at her home. She was born on October 12, 1931 in Rushville, IL, the daughter of Roman ‘Ralph’ and Edna (Green) Schultz. She married Harold Woods. He preceded her in death.

Also preceding her are her parents and daughter, Brenda Jean White.

Survivors include her 3 granddaughters, Shelly Delatorre, Sharla White and Shavon White, all of Rochelle, IL, 3 great-grandchildren, Madison, Danny and Bradley, 3 sisters, Norma Jean Barns of Mesa, AZ, Erma Louise (and Randy) Lawrence of Bushnell and Mavis Lorraine (and Charles) Hopping of Springfield, IL, 2 brothers, Ralph Eugene (and Mary) Schultz of Batavia, IL and Howard Wayne Schultz of Prairie City, IL, and several nieces and nephews.

Geneva was a cook at Copley Memorial Hospital in Aurora, IL

She was a Jehovah Witness of the Macomb Congregation. She enjoyed crocheting, word search puzzles and baking. She loved fried potatoes. The family is thankful for Harbor Lights Hospice out of Galesburg, IL, Patty, Mindy, Ashley and Katie, for everything they did.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
