Carrissa K. Sutphen

August 30th, 1979 – November 15th, 2020

Carrissa Kay Sutphen, age 41 of Ipava, Illinois, passed away at 4:33 pm Sunday, November 15th, 2020 in the Mason District Hospital Emergency Room in Havana, Illinois. She was born on August 30, 1979 in Canton, Illinois, the daughter of Terry Gene and Sandra Kay (Horner) Morse.

Carrissa was a Dietary Supervisor at the Prairieview Care Center in Lewistown, Illinois for many years. She was very close to the residents at Prairieview and enjoyed doing special things for them, especially during the holidays.

She enjoyed listening to music, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter Ashyton, who meant the world to her.

Carrissa is survived by her two daughters, Addison Edwards of St. David, Illinois and Chasity Sutphen of Lewistown, Illinois, her granddaughter Ashtyn Edwards, and her mother Sandra Morse of Ipava, Illinois with whom she made her home.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
