Gary D. Fulton

November 23rd, 1955 – February 18th, 2021

Gary D. Fulton, 65, of Duncan Mills, IL, passed away at 9:11 am on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at his home. He was born on November 23, 1955 in Canton, IL, the son of Russell and Betty (Lockard) Fulton.

Survivors include his 2 daughters, Samantha (and Robert) McIntire of Norris, IL and Sarah Fulton of Duncan Mills, 2 sons, Brian Fulton of Duncan Mills and Alex (and Cassandra Watson) Fulton of Duncan Mills, 6 grandchildren, Lola, Milo, Waylon, Oscar, Hennessy and Arlo, mother, Betty Jennings of Lewistown, IL, sister, Marilyn (and Tom) Laconte of Florida, and his niece, Brandy Reber of Washington.

He is preceded by his father, Russell.

Gary was a cattle farmer who owned and operated his family’s cattle for farm. He began working on the farm at very young age and loved being a cattle farmer. He did a little bit of everything when it came to the farm and his cattle and he was remembered for this.

He loved his children and grandchildren and his life revolved around his family and cattle.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 26th at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria, Illinois. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Summum Cemetery. Memorials may be given in Gary's memory to an education fund established for his grandchildren at the Ipava State Bank.
