Georgia Ann Duckwiler

September 25th, 1974 – November 3rd, 2021

Georgia Ann Duckwiler, age 47, passed away at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at her home in Canton, Illinois. She was born on September 25, 1974 in Rushville, Illinois, the daughter of George and Ann (Shanks) Pascal. She married Josh Duckwiler.

Georgia was a Pediatric LPN, working at Renaissance Care Center in Canton with the children. She loved being a nurse. She also loved the outdoors, card games, fishing and camping.

Georgia is survived by her son Trey Hallmark of Canton, her daughter Jasmine Abbott of Canton, her mom Ann (and Bill Burnham) Mitchell of Canton, three grandchildren, her brother Mylo (and Amanda) Mitchell of Peoria, Illinois, her sister Cheyenne Mitchell of Springfield, Ohio, grandmothers Jeannine Shanks of Astoria, Illinois and Janie Pascal of Lewistown, Illinois and several nephews and nieces.

Georgia was preceded in death by her father, her step-father Wayne Mitchell, and her grandfathers.

Visitation for Georgia will be held on Tuesday, November 9th from 5-7 at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria, Illinois. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm. Pastor Lisa Fike will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Woodland Cemetery at a later date. Memorials in memory of Georgia may be made to her daughter.
