Norma C. Brockley

June 11th, 1930 – December 23rd, 2021

Norma C. Brockley, 91, of Vermont, IL, passed away at 11:20 am on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at her home. She was born on June 11, 1930 in Macomb, IL, the daughter of Charlie and Ada (Gossage) Morrell. Norma Married David Brockley from Vermont. He survives.

She is also survived by her 3 children, Rhonda (and Terry) Wrestler of Macomb, Ronnie Brockley of Table Grove, IL and Rodney Brockley of Rushville, IL, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded by her parents and brother, Keith Morrell.

Norma spent her life helping her husband in all facets of farming. There were no challenges that she didn't face and overcome including being a survivor of breast cancer and colon cancer. She will be remembered for her strong will for life and living. She was a remarkable lady, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her.

A graveside service will be held at 3 pm on Friday, December 24, 2021 in the Vermont Cemetery. Pastor Cody Stinnett will be officiating. Memorials may be made to the Vermont Rescue Squad, MDH Hospice and Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
