Everett Chenoweth

April 11th, 1935 – February 27th, 2015

Everett Chenoweth, age 79, of Table Grove, passed away at 7:15 pm on Friday, February 27, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. He was born on April 11, 1935 in Industry, IL, the son of Sidney and Elma (Shawgo) Chenoweth. Everett married Marcia Hammond on May 1, 1956 in Marietta, IL. She survives.

Also surviving are his three daughters, Debbie (and John) Reedy of Galesburg, IL, Susan Rosinski of Table Grove, IL and Karen (and Jody) Jonseof of Aurora, CO, 9 grandchildren, Michelle (and Nathan) Keefer, Shawna (and Brandon) Clifton, Dan (and Lauren) Reedy, Sarah (and Luke) Vasicek, Stacy Schmitz, Eric (and Lauren) Rosinski, Brian Rosinski, Matthew Jonseof and Amber Jonseof, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way, his sister, Dorothy (and Bud) Dean of Industry, IL and his brother, Lynn (and Anna) Chenoweth of Carver, MA.

Preceding Everett in death is his son, Rodney Chenoweth and one infant brother Edward Chenoweth.

Everett first worked at Gorsuch T.V. in Summum, then was an electrician at Bower Bearing in Macomb, IL for 13 years, he then went on to work as an electrician at CAT in Mossville, IL for 13 years. He was a member of UAW Local 974 and loved taking pictures of barns in the area.

Services will be held at 8 pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria, IL. Luke Vasicek will be officiating. A visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation Rites will be accorded. Interment will be in the Harris Cemetery in Table Grove, IL at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Table Grove Rescue Squad.
