Having known Bertha all my life, I loved and admired her. She was a Sunday School teacher, a hymn leader, a great nurse, and she introduced me to Pampered Chef products, which I still use faithfully. Bertha loved her family more than anything, was a wonderful cook, homemaker and farm wife. To her loving family, we send our deepest sympathies to you all. Love and hugs, John & Sandy Bybee

Bertha was like a second mother to me and special lady to all that knew her through her love of the Lord and many years of service at the VUMC and Legion Aux. I still remember her special birthday cake for Jesus prepared each year for the social time at church after the program! She will be missed, but I know she is rejoicing with her savior and loved ones now in peace. Rick and Kathy Heller

I will always remember Bertha. She was always smiling, was a great cook, baker, and did a lot for the Vermont Methodist church. She taught Sunday school, was the downstairs director, taught Bible school, planned meals, lead the Christmas program and so much more. Bertha and my mom were born on the same day so I never forgot her birthday. Bertha I know you are in heaven with all of your family up there. You will be missed by all that knew you here on earth. Till we meet again, I loved you. She was always active in the Vermont Legion Auxiliary and was so active in every thing she was needed to do.
Eldon, Jim, Diana, and Mike my thoughts and prayers are with you. Judy Wilson
