Tim Kimbro

November 27th, 1955 – April 2nd, 2015

Tim Kimbro, age 59, of Astoria, passed away at 2:15 am on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at his home. He was born on November 27, 1955 in Belleville, the son of Earl and Betty (Peters) Kimbro. Tim married Missie Smith on July 4, 2001 in Camdenton, MO.

Survivors include his wife, Missie Kimbro of Astoria, his three daughters, Joby (and Shane) Miller of Macomb, Ashley (and Jason) Yazvec of Ipava and Mariah Smith of Astoria, two sons, Jed Welker of Chester and Dreaton Smith of Indianapolis, IN, his parents, Earl and Betty Kimbro of Astoria, three brothers, Ronnie Kimbro of Nashville, TN, Gary (and Marilyn) Kimbro of Browning and Todd Kimbro of Astoria, one sister, Tammy (and Bill) Batterton of Astoria, and five grandchildren, Leif Miller, Lane Miller, Rush Welker, Hudson Miller-Welker and Jaylee Yazvec.

Tim worked at Astoria Fiber Steel. He was owner and operator of PHILLIPS 66 gas station in Astoria and owner and operator of Kimbro Dairy Products in Astoria for 23 years.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Culbertson Memorial Hospital Oncology Clinic, 238 South Congress St., Rushville, IL 62681 or Graham Hospital Hospice, Canton, IL 61520

So very sorry to hear of Mr. Kimbro's passing. I worked at the FSB in Lewistown with Ashley and met him during that time. I could see where Ashley got her sense of humor and being so friendly from her father. With deep sympathy to the entire family, Lorenda and Alvin Spilker.
