Ronald L. Allard, Jr.

October 12th, 1963 – March 1st, 2024

Ronald J. Allard, Jr., 60, of Astoria, IL, passed at 11:40 pm on Friday, March 1, 2024 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. Ron was born on Saturday, October 12, 1963, the son of Ronald and Gloria (Bull) Allard, Sr. Ron married Jessica Kay Taylor on March 21, 1992 in Pekin, IL. She survives.

Also surviving are his two daughters; Lacey Allard of Peoria, IL and Mariah (and Tyson McGinnis) Allard of Astoria, IL, three grandchildren; Rayson and RaeLeigh McGinnis, and LaRiah Allard, two sisters; Monica (and Michelle) Kline of St. David, IL, Mendy Allard of Virginia, IL, and two brothers; Kevin (and Kelly) Allard of Canton, and Tad (and Amiee) Allard of Canton.

He is preceded in death by his daughter; Madison Marie Allard.

Ron was an auto mechanic and truck driver.

His passion was his family. Work was his hobby. He loved all music, especially Christian music the last few years. He also loved helping his grandson, Rayson, work on his four-wheelers.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. A celebration of life will be held later this summer. Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Humane Society.

Jessica and Mariah, I was shocked to hear about Ron. My prayers are with you. I always knew that if Cherokee was with you all she was being taking care of. Ron was good man and will be greatly missed.
