Todd A. Kimbro

February 4th, 1966 – July 1st, 2024

Todd A, Kimbro, 58, of Astoria, IL, passed away at 10:12 pm on Monday, July 1, 2024 at his home. He was born on February 4, 1966 in Havana, IL, the son of Earl and Betty (Peters) Kimbro.

He is survived by two sons; Tyler (and Addie) Kimbro of Summum, IL and Trevor (and Emma Welker) Kimbro of Astoria, four grandchildren; Trenten Kimbro, Dayten Kimbro, Cali Kimbro and Raiden Kimbro, his mother; Betty Kimbro of Astoria, two brothers, Ronnie Kimbro of Nashville, TN and Gary (and Marilyn) Kimbro of Browning, and one sister, Tammy (and Bill) Batterton of Astoria.

He is preceded in death by his father, Earl and brother, Timothy Kimbro.

Todd was a diesel mechanic working for Jake McCombs at Broadway Super Service and owned and operated Kimbro Diesel Service, both in Astoria. He also worked for Kimbro Dairy Products in Summum, ADM in Peoria, IL, and Waste Management in Macomb, IL.

Todd enjoyed putting model trucks and cars together, collecting Word War II memorabilia and toys, collecting guns and collecting NASCAR memorabilia. He loved to fish and spend time with his family and grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 am on Friday, July 5, 2024 at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Pastor Darrin Fish will be officiating. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service on Friday. Memorials may be made to the Astoria Park District. Interment will be in the Woodland Cemetery.
