Don was the only truck driver I seen who could have a cup of coffee in one hand and a cigarette in the other while he was driving,if he would spill his coffee or get ashes dropped on his shirt his standard comment was well (you know). Rest easy cherry picker, hope you ,rayjay and short stacks can enjoy each other’s company once again, probably harassing a waitress.

Although Don was only 4 years older than me (Sandy), when one is in high school, that is a big gap. Not so much now. When I was about 17 in 1967, dad bought me a new Mustang as a graduation gift. One day I had a flat tire near Chenoweth's gas station at the north edge of Table Grove. I had NO idea what to do. Then along comes this incredibly handsome guy, he just started right in changing my tire. I was so in awe of him and his kindness. Many years later, John & I bought all our horse grain from Don. He was a great guy and fun to be around. He will be deeply missed. Our deepest condolences to his entire family. John & Sandy (Douglas) Bybee
