Cheryl Ann "Sheri" Parsano

September 26th, 1947 – March 27th, 2025

Sheri Parsano, age 77 of Hodges, Alabama, formerly of Adair, Illinois passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at her daughter's home in Hodges. She was born on September 26, 1947 in Beardstown, Illinois, the daughter of Clifford and Glenna (Palmer) Parry. On June 25, 1970, Sheri married David Lee Parsano in Rushville, Illinois. He preceded her in death on December 9, 2020.

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are two daughters; Sonya (Daniel) Duke of Hodges, Alabama and Lisa (Craig) Rice of Industry, Illinois, one son Eric Parsano of Canton, Illinois, five grandchildren; Kyle (Raquel) Duke, Laryssa (Fidencio) Longoria, Collette (Dallas) Taylor, Tyler Miller and Dezerae Parsano, six great-grandchildren; Regean, Mackenzy, Kimber, Nickoli, Zuma and Wednesday, one great-great-granddaughter Emory, and one sister Tammy (Tony) Baldry of Lewistown, Illinois.

Sheri was a homemaker. She raised and sold birds and chihuahua's. She enjoyed sewing, reading and collecting books, collecting hummingbirds items, collecting cactus plants, collecting rocks, gardening and being outdoors.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Macomb American Legion Post 6.

The family extends their thanks to Sheri's daughter Sonya, who took mom into her home and cared for her from Dad's passing to the time mom passed and devoted four years of her life for mom's care.
