I think Mr. Charle Green was company clerk during my time with 97th Civil Affairs Group, 1st SFG. I was a new clerk typist. We lived in the Barracks in Fort Buckner and could look out the window and see Marine Corp training field with large rope ladders for climbing into beach landing craft. Charlie Green helped me learn my duties for keeping records and typing orders and request for supplies. He actually showed me how to lay the foundation and pour cement for steps leading into the metal dome shapped hut/aka office space. We had to drive from Fort Buckner to Kadeena and Sansue every day.
