Logan H. McClain Sr.

November 28th, 1958 – January 17th, 2026

Logan H. McClain Sr., 67, of Table Grove, IL, passed away at 6:30 am on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at his home. He was born on November 28, 1958 in Peoria, IL, the son of Edward and Mary Ann (Barrow) McClain. He married Cindy Batterton. She survives.

He is also survived by three children; Joy Behm of Peoria, Joe Waldrop of Goofy Ridge, IL and Michelle Behm of Creve Cour, IL, step-children; April Stoneking of Astoria, IL and Gina Gregory of Beardstown, IL, grandchildren; Jade McClain, Ocean McClain, and other grandchildren, three sisters; Shelly Mustread of Cuba, IL, Cherry Loveland of Bernadotte, IL and Rhonda McClain of Cuba, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his son; Logan McClain Jr., one brother; Ebert McClain, and one sister; Sharon Bill.

Logan was a carpenter and worked in construction.

Logan enjoyed spending time with friends, playing pool, setting outside on the swing in the summer, cooking, grilling outside, and watching true crime documentaries and horror movies. He loved working with his close friend, Rob Ellison. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
