Linda E. Watkins

November 26th, 1946 – August 17th, 2015

Linda Ellen Watkins, age 68 of Vermont, IL, passed away at 7:47 pm Monday, August 17, 2015 at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, IL. She was born on November 26, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Winfred and Florence (Jacobs) Fowler. Linda married Sanford Watkins on August 3, 1972 in Indianapolis. He survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Eddie Kern of Plainview, IN, Kevin Watkins and Nicholas Watkins, both of Vermont, her granddaughter Lana Watkins of Beardstown, IL, and two sisters, Margie Sullivan and Gloria Black, both of Indianapolis.

Linda was preceded in death by one sister, Marilyn Halpin.

She was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and going fishing.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
